Edge poly edit modifier

Basically, this modifier will allow you to manually edit the resulting geometry(vertices/edges/faces) of previous modifiers in the modifier-stack.

This allows for a greater non-destructive workflow, as we currently must apply each modifier before being able to edit the generated mesh, resulting in the loss of the ability to change any applied modifiers if we change our minds or decide to make changes later. Additionally, we can use this modifier to make additional changes to geometry without affecting our base model.

While using the modifier, you enter edit mode and make any changes you want to your mesh.. to evenly distribute non destructive edges in mesh is another great example... have blender now edge groups?? after 3 years Blender 3 is out I try it again...

I can really see this beeing useful for modeling. I think when sculpting there is a similar functionality integrated, so making it work for modeling could be somehow made possible - but i actually have no clue about such things =D
