Random Value for any Input

I think it would be really useful to have a driver (like #frame) that generates a random value between the minimum and maximum value of the number field. Maybe the seed of the generator could be chosen by the current time. This could also be useful for HEX colours. Below are 2 examples of what I have in mind. Should that be a random value that changes over time, or should it be consistent over time. Or should it generate a random value every time it is requested by the depsgraph?

For some cases the max value can be set to inf, but doesn’t seem useful. Should it be the soft min/max .

I rather have a consistent random value over time between 0..1 where with a multiplier.

De ‘#randomValue * 100’.

For color attributes you might want to control the saturation and value, but randomise the hue only. Perhaps with a golden ratio?

These are great points that i didn't thought of! For me personally, I would like a static, single random value. And yes, the soft min / max is way more useful than the hard min / max.

Maybe it's possible to have control over all these things with different commands or arguments.

Note that random hex color is to limited to sRGB colors and might not be useful when using shader colors or geometry colors. Those are linear and cannot be stored in an hex value without artifacts.
