Bevel Inverse Offset
What proposed.

Ability to enable inverse offset during Bevel operation ( it can be assigned to
Ikey - right now it's free )
Found that I need something like this when worked with vent tubes. If I miss something and there is already some addon that can do this - let me know please.
P.S.
Yes I know how it can be done. But it all kind of " extra moves " which can be avoided for comfort workflow.
As always - thanks for reading. Also you can check my other suggestions .

I love, love, love this suggestio.
This would be a gread addition! You can also add Offset Edge Slide on your corner diagonal and play with the Even and Flip settings of Offset Edge Slide. That will give you the limit edges necessary for the 100% Bevel method. This setting should be added to the Bevel tool as well. However this wouldn't give you the perfect bevel in every case, because it's dependent on the outer edges, and if those are at arbitrary angles, you'll have to add your bevel limit edges manually.
I think the 100 Percent Bevel method at the end of the day is a workaround to achieve a pure round bevel. What I mean by pure is a form that is based on a circle. On a pure bevel the inner and outer curves should be just offsets of each other, which relate back to a larger circle and its center point. It's a shame I can't add any images in comments.
The Bevel sizes should really be based on a distance to the Center Point of a Circle. The main edge that is beveled (this could be Active Edge if multiple edges are selected) is already pointing at this imaginary Center Point of a Circle. If we could specify the distance of the Center Point of the Circle that the Bevel is based on, then the outer edges of the bevel could align themselves to that Center Point of the Circle. The rest is history. The only thing is that there would still be some eyeballing as to the outer edges of the bevel being perpendicular to the side edges.
A feature that would help a lot would be making cuts, subdivisions or loop cuts that are perpendicular to the side edges, somehow...
The math of beveling needs a total rewrite.
@othoap: What do you mean, specifically? There was a huge initiative to make improvements to Bevel during the GSOC this past summer, along with a huge thread over on devtalk with developers and users going back and forth with suggestions and improvements. Are you suggesting that none of that work was worthwhile, and that it should all be rewritten?
