Per Rendering Layer Individual Settings and Batch Render

Hello Blender Developers, I have a couple of very important feautures suggestions to improve production pipeline for compositing. 'Per Rendering Layer Settings and Batch Render. In a few words, a system wich allows to set rendering options such as output name, folder, format and options such transparency, frame rate, frame range and camera/cameras for each render layer individually and, also a batch render mode, in order to can set a queue of rendering, so when everything is set up, it’s enough to launch the render, and the system will render each layer in queue.

it'd be nice to just have a "render settings" menu for the layer so everything can be overridden rather than just a few individual settings like we currently have

Have you tried flamenco.blender.org/ for batch rendering. It is easy to setup and let you continue working as the rendering happens in the background. I don't think we should invest in another system (integrated in Blender) as that would mean double maintenance. See if flamenco works for you.

Setting up render settings per render layer might be a tougher task than imagine due to compositing or file storage. For example what would then be the scene render resolution. That of the active render layer, or that from the render layer what is marked as for rendering.

We do see this request often, but the impact is larger than what is expected.

no, but i thinks it's too much complicated for what i've read about it's configuration, I come from maya, which has a layer rendering manager which works exactly as i loved to see on blender, i don't know in terms of coding how hard is, as i'm not a programmer, to make a per layer render settings, but i hope to see it soon on blender, because for the compositing of rendered animations is a must have functionality
