Rotate Matcaps by 90degrees increments
SImilarly to how we can horizontally flip matcaps, it would be good to rotate it by 90 degrees increments.

Why only 90deg then :)
Yeah I guess the more flexible the better, as long as it remains user friendly for the everyday user!
We can't really rotate matcaps because they are just images projected onto your object. You can find them in [Blender version]/datafiles/studiolight/matcap
Well that's the point of my idea really. Given the API currently allows for a horizontal flip of a matcap image, I wonder if they could update Blender in the future to handle matcap image rotation.
