correct info for collections

Will "Text Info" & "Screen Statistics" ever be able to reflect the Correct, current, COLLECTION of an OBJECT. Right now it always reports the last collection selected, which is not necessarily the currently selected OBJECT. It would be better to not report a COLLECTION as selected.

Thing is, the last selected collection is the one that is active in the scene data, it's what bpy.context.collection would return. I.e. it is the one in which new objects would be created, in which you import/link/append things, in which you paste objects, ... So it is the "correct" collection in many regards.

Furthermore, any object can be in as many collections as you want, there is virtually no objective "correct collection" in which the object belongs in every scenario. So what would be a "correct" collection then, an arbitrary one in which your active object happens to be in possibly among others?
And why that information would matter? It's not that collection which you are interaction right now. It's not that collection which is used by operators like Add Object ones, that would be the active collection, so we are back to square one.
