Default Base Human Bodies
So, something I think would really help the average user is if Blender came with built in default Base Bodies in the 'shift + a' > mesh > menu-area.
Base bodies are extremely useful especially for new users just wanting to practice getting used to the tools and software for the first time. They also provide a quick path to learning how to modify and edit human characters.
Most other professional software like Maya and Z-Brush come with default human base male and female bodies, so I think they would make an excellent addition to the Blender package moving it closer to the professional standard.
I also think it's very possible to have the base bodies low enough poly to ensure that there is no significant extra stress on the download or startup time of the software. And, would drastically improve the user experience for new users with with the intention of practicing character design and modification.
Thank you for your time and consideration -

Maybe add them too the
Extra Objectsaddon? There are some plans for default assets: devtalk.blender.org/t/asset-bundle-base-meshes/21535 and developer.blender.org/T55239
Would be exciting to see these in the next update
Just a simple T-pose model, 1.71 meters high (average male height on this planet).
It is super conveniënt to get scaling started on a project where humans could be.
hi royal skies
RoyalSkies had other proposals which i thought were awesome, find them in this playlist

Something like a Human Generator addon, but more simple to add users options to Generate chars with different resulution.
This is mostly useful for having a size reference when building scenes, I always have a human model in there to get the proportions of doors windows etc right
A low poly human head, body, and maybe hand would be far more beneficial than the monkey and wouldn't increase the download size by very much. They should just be in the add mesh menu and not require a separate asset package download. Even if they were based on a script or geometry node network to generate them procedurally to reduce download size would be better than nothing and better than making them a separate download.
