Image preview for shader editor

So the compositor has a preview option for their nodes, but in the shader editor we don't and have to either guess how the material is gonna turn out or somehow wrangle us through with the node wrangler previewer.

So my suggestion is that the shader nodes should also get a preview using some kind of standard object like a plane.

I'm aware that there is a paid addon literally called Node Preview, but I think 35$ is simply too much for something that Blender should come with as default and even has in the compositor.

I come from Lightwave where the texture editor has a built-in preview window that lets you preview a surface without having to apply it. I was hoping there was something like it for Blender.

Having the preview automatic in UV editor will be Cool
