fcurve decimate operation in bezier curves objects

Hi, Would it be possible to use the new fcurves decimate operator to clean Bezier curves?

in new features to Blender 2.82 ( wiki.blender.org/wiki/Reference/Release_Notes/2.82/Rigging )

video: wiki.blender.org/w/images/0/07/Decimate_Fcurve_Demo.mp4

Using the same operator to clean bezier curves imported from SVG files, such as logos or designs, would be very useful for not having to use external programs before importation, and yet the import does not always use the same control point properties.

There is the "addon simplify curves" that does something similar with both fcurves and bezier-curves, but I see the decimate much more appropriate and dynamic for this type of curve cleaning.

Sorry for my bad english, is google.

* @1conscience0dimension * I don't know how I missed this feature.Thank´s, but this only eliminates control points, does not maintain the shape of the curve

* @abrahamcastilla * one option in tool panel "shape maintenance"? or Error margin mode option ?

* @abrahamcastilla * although a way to recalculate curve would be great !!

Or maybe it could be an implementation of Grease Pencil's simplify. Or both!
