better aligned node in/out for reroute

As it is now connecting nodes through a reroute can look messy when using the "Noodle Curving" prerence, like here:

So my proposal is to have the inputs and outputs aligne with the grid used for snapping. This will hopefully make trees sorted with reroute look more clean. i dont think this will efect "Noodle Curving" higher than 0 in any real way

This comes up on a regular basis. Nodes can be various heights, with rows that need various heights. You cannot have perfect grid alignment on EVERYTHING without also deciding that wasting space to do it is acceptable.

"Needing" the lines to be perfect 90 degrees is simply a matter of OCD aesthetic. The node editor isn't meant to be the artwork itself.

we could have a node socket equivalent of vertex snapping though.

there are ways to standerdise stuf like that and dispite it not beeng suposed to be an astetic thing the node editor shuld still be visualy pleasant.

an example of how to do it wuld be to standerdise the size of input, nad make bigger input types scale to the closest full "square". i wuld guess at most the average sized node wuld be around +2/-2 % on size, and the bigger ones wuld increse with 2 to 5 % of the grid snapp unit that is currently used per vector input.

the main change wuld be to change "one-U" on the nodes to more closely aligne with "one-U" of the grid snap.

i dont know what blender uses to draw GUI, but from my expiriense with html and css/scss this shuld be a reletivly simple change.

lastly i want to comment on the OCD point: tho this may be a "nitpicky" detail its standard practice in UX design to standerdise height ang grid snapping acros an aplication and especially inside the same GUI element. And i wuld argue that the node editor wuld be an example where that is a good idea
