Set Snap Base to "Current Origin" when Transforming Origin / Pivot

Until very recently, the only way to transform a pivot was to:

1 ) Move the cursor to the entity you want the origin to be > 2) Move the cursor to the selection > 3) Set the origin to the 3D cursor.

Now Blender has a new recent feature . The "Set Snap Base" (when moving / grabbing with G for example). Used in conjunction with "Affect Only Origin" (under the options menu at the top right corner) could be an easy and fast way to precisely transform the origin.

However, It can not be snapped to the current pivot position (to later snap to a vertex for instance). It would be very handy if the current origin could be recognized as a snapping entity.

It is only one step far away to make this very handy.

I added a video to show that when I try to transform the pivot point (to move it from the current position to a vertex of the cube) it doesn't snap as expected.

You've never used "affect origin only"?

Well maybe "the only way" wasn't the precisest wording, more like "one of the most common ways" to precisely transform the origin.

And, yes I knew and used the affect origin only. That is why I'm posting about the use of this option in conjunction with the recent "Set Snap Base" feature.

It is possible to manually use the snaps with "affect only origin", but the post is about enhancing the new feature. I find it a more convenient way to transform the origin because you don't have to manually adjust the snapping options, and therefore we can preserve the snapping options that were set.
