display the operator shortcuts somewhere they can fit.....
Would it be possible to move the list of active tool shortcuts somewhere other than the status bar? At the moment many of the shortcuts are often not shown because they don't fit into the small space the status bar offers.
my preference would be to always make the capslock button open up a floating list at the mouse location, and then in the status bar just show 'capslock to view options'. Alternatively have an additional collapsible panel inside the 3d viewport at the bottom or top which can be toggled with capslock (easy to reach and unused).

In that regard, I'm quite a big fan of the GUI in Pitiwazou's speedflow .
The addon's core is to let you create and control modifiers through operators, just like destructive operators do, but with a pie menu and a very friendly "HUD-like" GUI:
The "main stuff" is centered in your area of focus, while the remaining shortcuts are displayed on the side:
The text colors and sizes are customizable, the color coding makes it really readable and pleasant to use...
It's neat that you can see them all, but I'd like the ability to toggle them for the extra screen space.
