Point click snapping
Hey everyone, this is my 1st post here and it is coincidentally a feature request, it isn't a fancy feature of some sort but something relatively easy and yet powerful and could save some time from people's lives on a day to day basis. So I have been fiddling around with the basic Blender snapping features along side some addons dedicated to snapping which I admit are pretty good no doubt but this neat little thing is a real time saver and it's literally a 2 point click. It's a Maya feature that I have been using for years, how it works is simple, you simply click a part of one mesh which you would like to snap and align to another object, then on the second click you select a spot on the other mesh where you would like the source to go to and finally when you click just press enter and it snaps and rotates, dead simple. You don't have to set origin points to faces, don't have to fiddle with rotations activating snapping to face etc or other different settings, none of that. Here are some photos...

I hope this get some attention and possibly gets implemented as it's a really handy feature for snapping and aligning object to one another without much more than 2 clicks. Give me your thoughts about it but I know for a fact that there isn't an addon to my knowledge and research that can do this at this moment in time.

Selection to 3d cursor works this way...
* @impacman * Not exactly, here are 2 examples of it not working as the way the point snap is working. In the 1st photo you can see that it snaps the origin which is in the middle to the cursor and not the face, on the second photo you can see that if I set the origin to a side face it still snaps the same way, it doesn't auto rotate the object to corresponding surface so it doesn't quite work this way.

* @zodiac98177 * yep i see. blender workaround looks smthng like this gifyu.com/image/76z7
* @impacman * Yes, I know I am using all types of workarounds currently to get simple snaps done but as you can see even if you work fast it still requires a lot more than 2 clicks, so this is the main idea behind this feature request, drop down the clicks to 2 and hitting the enter button, nothing else.
* @zodiac98177 * you right
