Array inside edit mode
It would be convenience because otherwise you have to go in object mode, add empty , go to modifiers tab, make array and apply array modifier.
For example, convenience will be if you want to use array and boolean( intersect) in edit mode.

This proposal needs much more thought put into it... particularly when it comes to workflow. In your example, how would the user specify which subcomponents of the mesh get arrayed? How would the user specify which of those subcomponents get used in a boolean operation?
Part of the value of arrays and booleans when used in a modifier context is that these are non-destructive manipulations to the mesh. It's easy to make changes and it's easy to compartmentalize and stack multiple modifiers upon one another. Doing so in Edit mode would remove all of that capability.
I'm not dismissing the value of having quick, destructive arrays and booleans in Edit mode, but it's difficult for a developer to add a feature if you aren't clear about how exactly it should work from the user perspective. What are the key-presses and mouse-clicks that a user will need to do to use this feature? Mock-up images that show this workflow would be a huge help.

Object1 is radial environment. You want to make boolean intersect on various parts of Object1 with spheres array in edit mode,
One way how it could be done is to have array option in toolbar in edit mode. If sphere in edit mode is selected, clicking on array will make this happen.
Other way is to add layers in edit mode. For example. Object1 will be in layer1 and sphere in layer 2. Both in edit mode.
I can't make suggestions for shortcuts because I could point already existing ones.
What happens if you have only part of the sphere selected?
And when it comes to booleans, selection order doesn't matter for a union. However, order does matter for other boolean operations like difference. How would you determine order of operations for a boolean operator? What would happen if someone selected a mesh component that's not fully enclosed? What if the user selects just part of a fully enclosed mesh?
For now, you'll need to use a service like imgur to host your images. You can embed them in your post using Markdown syntax .
OK... so this proposal relies on a separate feature that Blender doesn't currently have. It would probably be best to create a new proposal that's specifically about Edit mode layers... but that's a pretty core fundamental change to Blender and it may conflict with some of the workspaces paradigms that are planned for Blender 2.8 ( like this one ). I'd recommend researching the plans for 2.8 and then really trying to think through how this idea might integrate into that design.
