Wire opacity shouldn't affect wireframe view

It's really helpful and pleasant to see wires on the mesh with a low opacity in solid view. However, this also makes the wires in wireframe view extremely hard to see.

I would argue that there's not really a good use case for reducing the opacity for wires in wireframe view and that the setting should only affect the wires in solid, material, and rendered view.

Either that or, even better, there could be a separate setting for wires on a solid mesh vs wires by themselves.

I don't think there should be a new option. You said it yourself:

there's not really a good use case

I can't think of a good case for it either. Adding options just to keep the old way and accomodating another use case, ends up in bloating the software with functions that probably 99% of the people won't use.

Like when we added an option to disable colored wires in the Node Editor, because maybe people won't like it. I haven't seen a single screenshot/tutorial with that setting off, and now we're stuck with it.

I'd say let's make a PR, let people use it, and see how it goes.

Had this tab open in the browser for over a month, since I thought it might be easy to tackle even for non-developers like me.

Gave it a try and found the oneliner that fixes it! Made a PR projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/126884
