Transform Grease Pencil Layer

We really should be able to transform (scale, move, rotate) a single layer within a Grease Pencil object, including all of its keyframes, without splitting it into a new object.

Currently, when you want to shift a moving character a bit to the right or left while keeping the motion, you have to do so by hand, tediously, keyframe by keyframe. (Or you have to have anticipated this issue and created the character as a separate Grease Pencil object, which causes its own problems with transparency, etc.)

This is my biggest qualm with Grease Pencil at the moment. Without this feature, the layers in Grease Pencil are more like collections of strokes than they are like the dynamically editable layers in other drawing and animation programs.

Edit: thanks for the tips on working around this problem using multiframe editing! I'll definitely be using those. I still 100% think, though, that this feature would make Grease Pencil much easier to use.

You an use multiframe editing for the situation described.

... and you can lock all layers and / or materials that should not be affected.
