Built In Reference Board

Currrently blender has many infinite canvases with nodes, what it needs is a workspace which is an infinite board of images.

Basically Pureref inbuilt. it could be useful to add references, color palettes etc. brave_qHNQwLNQob.png

Agree, and with mipmap virtual texture gpu buffer that would only load images with texel/pixel density desired for the view-distance, it would allow to load infinite amount of 32k reference image if needed without starting to lag or fill vram budget just with references (something done both in viewport/vulkan workbench engine, eevee-next and cyclex could be good standard)
