Refine Blender "real-time perform" animation abilities like Procreate Dreams
Blender has always had the ability to record "performance" type animations by hitting the play button while the "auto keying" is depressed and then calling the move, rot, scale commands, Blender records keyframes and creates the animations.
-
Blender needs refinement to begin "playing" when the 'movement' starts thereby recording will start on the correct frame as intended.
-
Can this functionality then be extended to record vertex movements in real-time while in edit/sculpt mode? (animALL now records these vertex per frame but only one frame at a time)
-
Finally can this functionality be extended to grease pencil -draw, edit and sculpt and tint modes?
Blender has always had ways to aid in this "real-time animation" by limiting keyframes to the type of movement you're performing (loc, rot, scale) with the "Active Keying Set" and later refining animation using the graph editor. But it was always clunky in the way you record by hitting play, then rushing to choose the command and have your pen in the correct starting position.
Thank you for your consideration.
