Blender 5.0 Playhead vertical line thinner
The vertical line of the playhead now completely covers the keyframes underneath.
That's terrible, because, then you never know if you are "standing" on the right keys, because now, you cannot see them.
Yes - you can increase the keyframe dots size, but that just makes it soo messy.
Suggestion: remove that new outline around the vertical line of the playhead

historical context: The line was made thicker by 1px so it can be symmetrical over the keys (in the dopesheet).
This isn't very nice right now, and I agree in the graph editor this is super annoying. I started a design task ( projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/149826 ) about fixing this by drawing the keys on top. Unfortunately the implementation hit a technical brick wall that won't be cleared for 5.2. But I assume something similar can be done with the Dope Sheet as well.
Yea, sounds nice, if You can tweak this at some point in future, as a pro animator, always working with the graph editor, it's problematic, to not being able to see the keys in the graph editor - I constantly get in doubt, if there are actually keys in the frame I am in, because the line hides the ones there.
I appreciate your efforts. Thanx Best, Jesper Colding
Furthermore, I see your point with the dopesheet. Nice. Though, You don't need to change that. The line can be 3 pixels wide, BUT what has happened is, that APART from that extra pixel, it has also gotten this 1 pixel outline on both sides (=2 pixels extra).
Removing that outline, would solve it! :-)
For now, I've made the key dots bigger, but it's not ideal :-)
