Keyboard Shortcuts with Interesting Actions

Scale with keep the volume applied for a single action: S to scale, then press M to keep the volume as you scale. You can do this after or before selecting one or two axes with the X, Y, Z keys. This would be useful for squash and stretch. It would also work for Grab and Rotation.

Move, rotate and scale with laplacian deformation automatically applied to the selected area: Press G, R or S to do the transformation, then press L to activate the transformation as if you were with an empty object with Laplace deformation attached to the area you are moving or spinning. Do this before or after pressing X, Y, Z to select any axis.

  1. there is squash/strech modifier (Simple Deform->Stretch)
  2. scale is for object`s scale and can work only for 3 axes separately. Try to turn cube like this and scale Z {attachment 150251jpg}, then think, why it is not streched.

* @ Vyacheslav * If I am not mistaken, pressing shift + x, y or z you, for example, moves the object on the other two axes minus the indicated axis. and although scale is used for scale, it and even and grab, for example, could be used for squash and streched. just activate the constrain maintain volume that can see this even in grease pencil. but a shortcut could be very useful, without the need to use a constrain / modifier.

* @thiagocavalcantecarvalho * for animation it is better to use bone and constrain. For static use lattice.
