Single or multi Keyframe edting directly in Animation Editors Header.
It is standard UI and UX practice to have the Key Value and Key Time available to the User in most Software ( simple and complex ).
This not only allows the User to quickly edit the Key Value and Key Time by Clicking and dragging the fields, but also precisely inputting the required value very easily.
Currently to precisely edit Active Keyframe the User is required to open the Side Panel. ( Shortcut )
This would also be very helpful on touch devices.

EDIT: A slightly more complex proposal that I originally had in mind. Leaving it here for feedback.
There are redundant Icons in the Graph Editor Header that can be removed to still have a clean looking Header.

I agree with this, I know they have the slider to help with values. But i feel its too much at times and blocking information if your using a small screen. Your Idea reminds me of Motion builder, the software we use for our games at the studio.
Gotta say, I editing keys in their graph system is very smooth. Of course I would like a similar feature in blender, I modify your image. I could not paste it so i upload the image on Imgur link below.

Thanks for the support. I had a look at your mockup. A nice idea although a bit radical.
Add to this:
I have a suggestion. Instead of requiring precise pinpoint clicking to select a single keyframe and repeatedly opening/closing the side "N" panel to view or edit its Key Value and Key Time, it would be much more efficient to use a simple box selection to select the keyframes and view the Value and Time in the header. With this, users could quickly drag a box around one or more keyframes directly in the graph area. Once selected, the Key Value and Key Time would immediately appear in the UI—ideally in the header—without needing to open the "N" panel every time or pin it to the side. With this, editing values would be faster and easier. This workflow feels faster and more intuitive and would reduce constant panel toggling, especially during detailed curve tweaking. This would make the Blender Graph Editor even more animator-friendly.
Yes. This is exactly what I intend to propose. Single or multi Keyframe edting directly in the Graph Editor/Dopesheet. Besides massively reducing Keyboard use, this would be especially useful when blender is on Tablets.
