Allow automatic looping with Frame or Keyframe stepping in the Timeline.

I'm looking around but I can't find any way to do this like how I expect it to work, so my request is, in the Timeline, add an option to allow automatic looping when frame or key frame stepping with the arrow keys.

It can be a check box or a setting in preferences.

When you reach the start or end of the selected range of the animation or last frame in the case of key frame stepping, it will go to the opposite end to continue stepping through the loop, like when you use the play button.

Shift+arrow works but is irritating to work with because you have to change input and it messes up your concentration. I just want to keep clicking the same key and see what's happening instead of having to switch when I get to the end.

This is how it works in 3DsMax, and I use it a lot. Now trying to get in to animation with blender, it's really throwing me off not having that option.

A similar thing should be done with the play button, optional loop or just play once.

If this is not possible already, I hope it can be added in the future.

Thanks

That is very important for making looping frame by frame animation ! I need it for Grease Pencil too
