Freestyle render preview instead of trial and error
Freestyle or LANPR even faster should be more usable if interactively seen changing somewhere in the viewport, like previews on material slot in eevee. I mean lines styles and lines and general appearance... Now it seems too difficult and slow to try and retry a lot of times by rendering freestyle until you get the result. I'm only an artist and I think it would be more user-fiendly to see suzanne or a cube changing the outlines when changing parameters or appending lines styles or stroke appearances from another blendfiles. Thanks all guys for your interest. Some other users would like these features ?

Very much an important aspect for artists. Even if it could be done in a Render Region, smaller area for speed, it would be very helpful.
Last week I saw something very interesting to reach the goal of my post and close to what I expect : converting some mesh edges to curves and then converting those in GP objects.... Some kind of NPR render but more REALTIME.... Thanks for those who shared this... I can't remember who however.
As you say etufo2 Maya seems to create lines that can be edited but the link shows it lacks to be realtime... This is much compositing stuff. You first need a render BEFORE seeng any effect With LANPR which is realtime I think it would be possible to get a kind of "Suzanne" rendered in a lttle preview window like the existing one showing materials usually, but this time showing the line styles in it in realtime when tweaking the line parameters. That would be great, anbitious but we are near than that, arent' we ? Cause all the features needed fot that, Blender has it already, no ?
Maya can do this. Maya basically creates dynamic curves based on your options. These curves can still be converted into geometry, either procedurally or completely converting it's current look to a mesh. I see you can export Freestyle as SVG so they should also be curves. It does sound like a lot of work to implement, but should be possible. Below an example of Toon Outlines in Maya. youtube.com/watch
