improving trackpad user experience
today mosy trackpads have multi-point touch, natively supported by windows 10. I think user experience on laptops inside 3D view can be better with the implementation.
my idea is such:
use two fingers to rotate the view. you can even rotate in the third axis by turning two fingers clockwise or counterclockwise.
for zooming in and out, use pinch instead.
to pan, use three fingers.
also, provide a virtual left button or map a key for it if possible. perhaps use "sticky key". some laptops have a pretty heavy LMB on their trackpads or even require the whole thing to be pressed, which is really tiring for the finger, especially if you are holding down a key with your lefthand and trying to drag vertices with your right hand.

The trackpad experience is actually excellent on macbooks already. I don't know what the problem is they have with windows.
Multi-touch trackpad support has already been added for Windows users.
Upvoted because I prefer the trackpad instead of a mouse. – Rotating objects with two-finger would make it even better!
I gave an upvote, but in return you get my cynical comment- an easy way to improve the trackpad experience is to get a mouse :)
