Applying a transformation to an instance object.

When applying a transformation to objects that have an instance object - it outputs an error.

Solution of this situation:

  1. Apply transformation to objects without instance, and objects connected with each other - displays a warning.

  2. Apply transformation to the instance object, but the value - for example Scale in the child objects will remain as it is.

But there is a problem when there are a lot of these instantiated objects and it is not clear which object should be transformed.

It is solved by applying the scale to the object that comes first in the list, and the others inherit the absolute size, and keep their scales.

I like the solution from the Modifier List addon, where you couple apply modifiers (break links) which would make the instance real, then apply. This should and could be done with instances and applying transforms. It should be a dialogue and a UX choice to break the link then apply.
