Vertical Menu Option for Pie Menus

Could we get an option in User Preferences to display all pie menus in the old vertical menu style like Quick Favorites?

I really do not like pie menus. Moving the mouse and clicking is slow. It's slow to process where things are with unfamiliar menus, you don't have to move your eyes much to read a vertical menu. In the new flatter UI theme, I find I lose them visually which makes them even harder to parse.
