Internal Node Groups
Sometimes you want to use node groups just to organize things and don't need to reuse them in other trees. It'd be great to have the option to mark node groups as internal so they don't clutter Add Group and Search menus in current project or projects where parent tree is imported into.

By adding a dot "." before the node group name, it will no longer appear in the add menu and title bar switch node tree options, but will still appear in the search menu.
Oh tks I didn't know abt that. That should help at least a little.
Put a dot at the start of the node group's name (
.MyLittleNodeGroup) and it will not show up in the add menu. It will unfortunately show up in the search menu, which it didn't used to do until you typed in a dot, I'm not sure when this was changed, but I don't like it.That's weird. Hope they can change it back soon.
Oh god, it is as bad UX as "dot folders" are in linux (and also windows for some reason). Zero user discoverability and alters node names for no reason.
