Menu: Clean Up Space-Data - Document What This Does
This menu item appears, offering to clean up Space Data.
The Blender manual gives exactly the same explanation of this feature, as the tooltip:
"Removes unused settings for invisible editors."
It would be good, if the documentation explained:
- What is "Space Data"?
- What "invisible editors" are.
- Why these invisible editors have settings, which aren't used.
- Why a user might wish to invoke this menu?

This menu should not be visible to the user at all. It was added so that these operators could be found through the search. 15b0c76
Btw, there was a discussion on these menus. D8706
I agree that this might be the ideal solution. I don't think it's great when software has an easily accessible menu item, that may or may not be something you should click because you've no idea what it even does (and, even the manual doesn't tell you.)
My fav comment on it, from the devtalk discussion 2 1/2 years ago:
"I have to admit, i have no idea what half the stuff under the System sub menu does"; if a developer feels that way, imagine the user ...
