grease pencil eraser option: intersection
Hi in clip studio paint theres the very cool intersection eraser which erases a line up to the intersection with another line.
i added a small demo video of that eraser tool.
blender can already detect the intersections in edit mode if you choose the 3rd select mode.
but it would be nice if it had this integrated into the eraser tool as an option.
one additional thing is that the earser tool should create one new vertext on the line right at the intersection , otherwise simplified or straight or otherwise low vertexcount lines will be cutoff before the intersection and a gap will open up.

Yeah, you're describing the cutter tool, although I do like the idea of the cutter tool creating a vertex at the actual intersection point. I've always thought it should work that way, since it's kinda useless unless you work with high resolution strokes because it never cuts to the actual intersection point and I always end up manually moving the final vertex in edit mode anyway. As such, I usually just use edit mode and avoid the cutter tool entirely...
I think this is what the Cutter tool is supposed to achieve, does it do what you need?
