Ability to search for Key-Binding by pressing the hotkey

This is more of a papercut but I am customizing my hotkeys a lot so this one gets a bit annoying at times.

When you open up the preferences and go to search for a key-binding you manually have to type the function keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, etc) It would be great if you could just press [Ctrl] + G (for example) and it would fill it into the search bar.
