Proposal for Interactive Modeling in Blender

Hello folks from the Blender community today! I want to share with you a provocation. I say "a provocation" because I'm suggesting a tool / addon, which I'm not a professional Blender user and I do not dominate the program. That is, I am someone out of the box, out of the Blenderian world. So excuse me for the boldness of the proposal.

What motivated the presentation of "interactive Blender modeling" was my recent interest in learning 3d, more specifically digital sculpture, to create illustrations, 2D compositions. For I am graphic design.

I tried to learn Maya, Mudbox and Zbrush, but they are expensive and very, very annoying programs to deal with. After watching some sculpture videos in Blender I decided to test the program and, to my surprise, I was delighted with many things in it: fluidity, processing power and the fact of being free.

I loved the feel / touch provided by Blender's sculpture mesh. But I did not advance in my studies because I realized that in order to achieve the results I want I will have to devote hours and more hours of study and training to learn a lot of things involving polygonal modeling and modifiers. A cold water shower!

So I went in search of addon (s) for sculpture. I found few free and all very bad. Payments now are not compatible with the latest versions of the program or are in euros and in a way that was difficult to acquire.

After watching a video on the Dalai's YouTube channel, in which he talks about the possibility of version 2.8 being made available a workspace / interface aimed at beginning users in Blender. I have decided to cooperate with a proposal in this regard. The result of this personal study is the three videos (links below) with the conceptual detailing for modeling from curves, associated with the features of Blender's current sculpture mode (more precisely, the Dyntopo).

I think it may be interesting for the official Blender developers to know this concept in order to understand the real needs and demands of the market also for less complex, interactive and easy learning tools.

Hugs!

You don't necessarily have be wait for 2.8 for a lot of this. Part of the customization features were already added with the new template system for 2.79. Someone made a wordpress page demonstrating customization features here:

Thanks for your information! The proposal I have presented is modest, I have no pretension with it. Maybe it can guide, in some way, the developers who are currently working on Blender updates, such as the Blender Potion 101. I say this because it is a proposal made by a novice user in Blender, interested in facilitating the modeling work associated with the sculpture mode.
