Proposal: Real-time Wind Vector Visualization in Viewport
We have great physics tools, but setting up scene-wide environmental forces like wind often feels like guesswork until you hit render. I’m proposing a toggleable "Wind Overlay" in the viewport that uses animated flow-lines or vector arrows to show exactly how force fields are affecting the scene globally. This would make it much easier to balance cloth simulations or particle hair without constant test bakes.
It’s all about making the journey from default cube to final render as smooth as possible. Just like how you’d want a spacious van to Pearson Airport to ensure a group trip starts without a hitch, we need tools that take the "friction" out of our creative process!
What do you guys think? Would a vector overlay help your simulation workflow?
