UV Shell Face Orientation // Flip Normal UV Shell // Texel Density Checker inside UV Editor
Much like Maya's native feature, would be a game changer for those using blender for GameDev to be able to see UV Normal Orientation inside the UV editor. An option under the " select " tab to Select Flipped UV's. The usual method of scaling on either X or Y axis to a value of -1 could also be implemented as a button much like the Flip Normals option on the 3D model but on the 2D shell now.
In addition to that, a texel density checker and " Set Texel Density " option native to blenderto improve the GameDev pipeline fluidity.

this search extensions.blender.org/search/ on the extensions site shows two of posssibly helpful add-ons [you might want to try these too].
None of them have that feature. This isn't the place to advertise addons just because they remotely relate to the discussion.

am in no way or form affiliated with any developer, development, site, have also no intention nor inclination to advertise anything, am only trying to [perhaps partially mistakenly] help with possible suggestions to try out.
