Hey guys,
I created this account just to help out all those who were once as frustrated as I.
Don't remember which video I saw, but basically all you have to do is select the camera as an active object and THEN hit CTRL+Z
Hope that helps!!
I can't believe this isn't a thing yet. Please add it. Thank you.

On of the most important feature requests in my opinion. Was possible in Softimage XSI already before 2005...

You can currently use the stored views addon that's bundled with blender to store both camera and viewport views. It's pretty nice, and a good workaround until this idea gets implemented.

another thing from max :) .. yeah I like it, although when you're in camera view and locked to camera view and you move the view it moves the camera, so you can undo, but having a *viewport view undo is useful
