Shot reviewing tool with annotations
Hi,
I can't find any open source video player, that could be used for reviewing shots and making annotations on the video frames. Autodesk RV is a program designed for that purpose. It seems, that Blender has most of this functionality - what lacks is a quick and easy way of exporting the annotated frames.
How I would see this:
- You switch to Movie clip editor and open a video file
- You make some notes on selected frames of the video file using grease pencil
- You "one-click" export all the frames with annotations to jpg files, using the output path
So it seems that only the third step is missing. The exported files should be named using the video file name + frame number. Also the grease pencil strokes should be visible only on the frames they were created - while reviewing.
Additional function, that would be very useful:
- possibility to change gamma, saturation, and switch to R, G, B channels

I agree, it would be usefull for doing animation feedback notes. I find it quite hard to do it right now in blender. The base requirements would be:
What I find difficult right now is:
I think this would be feature that many users will love, because there is very few and paid alternatives for it.
I've done this before in the VSE. Kind of surprised that it's not in the Movie Clip editor
* @Jason van Gumster * you succeeded to render your annotation in the 2.8 VSE ? maybe in 2.79, but it doesn't work anymore. Here is my proposal for shot reviewing ( valid for VSE, Image Editor and 3D viewport){attachment annotationspng}
finaly found it ! the "Sequence Render Animation" works, it is now hidden in the view menu, above the sequencer preview :( Can't wait to get a proper playblast button back !
