Append keeping the original size, no matter the unit scale

Situation:

Let's say you have two files: file1 with default 1.0 meter unit scale, default cube is 2x2x2 Meters...and file2 in which you create smaller objects using a different unit scale, for example 0.01 and lenght in cm, so the default cube for file2 is 2x2x2 Centimeters.

Problem:

If you append the cube from file2 into the file1, my surprise was that the smaller cube is now huge (what was a 2cm cube is now 2m), because it translates the unit scale but does not respect the original size.

I think the expected behaviour is the appended cube from file2 to be shown in file1 as 0.02x0.02x0.02m. Imagine this scenario with file1 being a living room and file2 a vase. Currently, if you append the vase, it will be bigger than the whole house if the two files have different unit scale.

Solution:

Having a check box in the File>Append window allowing to keep the original size would be nice, even if the current "normal" behaviour stays the same for legacy or other reasons.

Hope this makes sense, thanks for reading!
