Better UV generation for Screw Modifier

When using Screw to make something like a vase, when there is a major change of direction, the UVs of that area are trash.

We need an algorithm that straightens out the edges given to the Screw modifier without changing their length and then does something like a Project From View uv unwrap with a Follow Active Quads applied to the UVs of the mesh generated by Screw.

In this example I manually performed what I just described on the upper lip of this vase to get much better UV spacing.

Left: Screw Modifier output
Middle: Applied modifier. Manually adjusted UV's to match the spacing of the object on the right.
Right: Extracted a segment of the top of the middle object. Manually rotated each face to be co-planar with its neighbouring face until the entire shape was "unwrapped" (made flat). Used Project From View to generate perfectly spaced UVs. Used that spacing as a guide to adjust the UVs of the middle object.

Would be nice to have a better UV mapping on curves too...
