control edge bevel through vertex bevel weight in bevel modifier. (non destructive workflow)

way. But the way it works now can be improved in my opinion.

It would be faster and more user friendly to be able to set the bevel weight of a vertex and have that value translate into the bevel modifier but not as a vert but instead a edge bevel. So that it reacts the same way it would when you would bevel the vertex in a vertex group. But by doing it this way you elimate the extra steps of vertex grouping and having to add a new bevel modifier everytime you want to set a specific bevel width for a vert. Thus ending up with possibly 10+ bevel modifiers in the stack. Versus having 1 bevel modifier set to weight and controlling each vert its bevel with the bevel weight value.
