Proportional Editing Custom curves/curve editor
It would be awesome to have an option to create and edit custom falloff in proportional editing. Those few done by default are ok, but sometimes you just need a little tweaks. Maybe it would be possible to make it editable the same way as sculpt tolls have theirs curve edit.

this and gradient color for the Falloff would make this feature instantly ten times more powerfull
The Hook Modifier can do this, so I think the code might already be in there. I'm hoping proportional editing gets some improvements to go along with multi-object editing.
* @Josephbburg * Isnt that how some addons are made? they take already existing code and implement it somewhere else useful
* @Reoxur * Sort of, but in this case, its C code that's inaccessible from Python, on both ends (the modifier and the proportional editing). You might be able to create an addon that temporarily creates and then applies a hook modifier, but I've had trouble attempting to do something similar in the past (might have run into a bug). This particular proposal needs some attention to UI and should be solved within Blender, in my opinion.
Where in the interface would you propose that the user edit the fall-off curve?
* @Jason van Gumster * Just raplace current items List with same window as in Properties for Scupt mode where user be able to change curve shape + small button to add and save new custom curve. This suggestion don't need any super special mockups.
* @forestgumpovu4 * Any mock-up (even a worded description like you've given) is better than nothing. The more we put into our proposals, the more clear it is to developers what we're looking for.
Maybe something like this? {attachment mockupjpg}
* @mottomo.jk * I could see that working. Though it might be nicer if the curve editor and the curve selector were in the same space. Maybe like the popovers in 2.80.
