Mouse hover + Hotkey to open any drop down menu
It would be super nice to save the constant menu clicking!
Suggestion: Mouse hover over a menu + Hotkey (like shift?) to replicate the left click, opening various menus automatically.

No hotkey needed:
Configurable timings are in 1/10 of seconds.
HOWEVER, that checkbox doesn't affect toolbar, so you still need to long click hold move which feels bad with mouse and even worse with tablet:
Gimp auto unfold for tools on pointer hover is so much less annoying than current behaviour...
