Grease Pencil - Identify/select layer selected Stroke is on

In the Object Properties panel for the active grease pencil, there can be quite a few layers added and it is not possible to determine which layer any given stroke is on barring hiding/showing each layer.

It would be useful in the Layer Special popup menu to add "Activate layer for selected stroke" and set the Active Layer index to the layer the stroke is on and highlite it.
