Particle Density
Could be great to have a particle density parameter as an option instead of particles count when using particle hair
It would make the same particle system on different sized mesh look consistent
PS: Feweeb I won't make a mockup :P

This would be great as well if you work on a nature scene for a game and expand the scene as you go. Every time you add more surface area to a grass or tree particle spawner the whole thing changes and it is hard to keep the whole area the same. With density it would be easy to remove or add areas to the particle spawner without it effecting your previous work.
Plus if you have a large area you need to cover density works much better as you can safely edit one piece of the mesh without worrying how it changes the particle density on areas outside of your screen.
good idea, I also often had the problem to figure out the surface and then do manually the math to find the right amount. Which of course breaks everytime you sensibly change the surface area... So yes, something to have :)
