Curl noise parameters in vector fields/particle system
When setting turbulence and vortex vector fields, would it be possible to implement normalize and round to integer function parameter which would normalize vectors and make them 90 degrees on each other?
Normalize and Round to integer function could be under vector fields tab. imgur.com/l1vDQRf
Then you could make procedural shapes with particle system. I was watching this tutorial for the Vex.

This really needs more fleshing out. It's not sufficient to just click to another application's tutorial. How would the workflow look and behave in Blender ? It would be best if you could provide mock-up images that show the new controls you're proposing in Blender's UI and specifically how those controls would influence particles.
Is this enough explained? I'm not familiar with how was this made in tutorial.
The Blenders particle system is a huge mess. I think there are only rare developers who are capable of touching it, so it might need some funding from the community to have it better. (I am not an expert tho)
