Dynamic Color Management and LUTS
It would be very cool for Blender to be able to load and run custom luts and color profiles. Like, if I download a lut .cube file, i could just import the file into Blender and then use it. For Iphone HDR videos, recorded in REC 2100 HQ, I could use a custom lut to transform it into REC 709 SDR, It could be like an image slot in the panel, or a folder added in the preferences like we do with the assets.

Technically, it's possible. Blender manages color with OCIO, and they implemented it with their library, as far as I understand.
As a standard, OCIO is also implemented in other programs, and as far as I can see, there are functions that used to be available through commands that these programs are exposing to users. In Blender, one of them is already exposed as a node: "Convert Colorspace," which is the OCIO "ColorSpaceTransform" function. There are other functions like DisplayViewTransform, LookTransform, and also FileTransform, which is the function you're asking for.
I don't remember exactly, but I think they didn't implement them sooner due to time, and since they didn't see demand for them, their priority was lowered.
Yes please, would be very welcome as its a pretty standard feature for other renderers and apps. :)
