Boolean needs improving

It is a core tool, yet it is not very ergonomic. While it could—and should—be more user-friendly and comprehensive, its current design can be limiting. The Boolean modifier can subtract one object from another, leaving (by default) only the parts outside the mesh selected for subtraction. If “Intersect” is chosen, only the portions within the overlapping volume remain.

But what is missing here? Why can’t the user keep both the inside and outside results simultaneously?

The idea is worth an upvote, but I agree with Hatrutsu. Your request is a little broad.

This post is too broad for a feature request. Could you narrow it down to one specific change? For example: "Add a Boolean modifier option that outputs both result meshes simultaneously as separate objects — e.g. Difference and its inverse."
