Batch baking
Please, can we have batch baking in Blender 3 or whenever ? I know not a lot of people actually bake their textures but it would be awesome to have the option for the people that do do that.
I can batch bake dozens of textures in 3ds Max, just hit a button and come back later when it is all done and it is so convenient for them to be all automatically baked and saved. Baking and saving one texture at a time in Blender is really quite cumbersome and time-consuming, requiring you to sit at the computer and hit bake and save as over and over.
The whole process of baking textures is a bit clunky in Blender, I'm sorry to say. It has been one of the things that I hated the most and that has often made me go back to 3ds Max but I would really love to transition completely to Blender because it is so cool and amazing and innovative in all other areas, except that of baking textures, which has always been the clunkiest aspect of Blender to me.
(This is what it looks like in 3ds Max i.gyazo.com/d743a9d005004adc48c45f29db085e06.png )
PS. With Denoise option enabled for baking of course !

Not just batch baking but also UDIM baking.
I tried using the compositor and saving the baked textures at multiple stages with an "File output" node. It works, but it is quite a hassle and you cannot define a unique name to the textures to my work around for this was exporting them to different named folders. Also you are bound to baking using a camera so just for tiling textures, trimsheets and decals etc.
Turns out there is a plugin it's not free but at least it's not that expensive. Only $5 blendermarket.com/products/udim-baker
