Add icon (+) for creating custom orientation(s) to the header
I use custom orientations a lot. Each time drop-down menu is needed to be opened to reach plus button. I propose to add simple (+) button icon next to Transform Orientations menu to make adding new orientations faster and easier.
I see some sense to add another button on the side to open ONLY custom orientation list, to choose specific one faster but it is not must-have option.

I don't think it should be like this, I agree it's annoying to go to drop down menu everytime but there should be a better solution IMO
There is in fact. Quick Favorites menu. I use it now. Problem is that this menu can not have too many keys, it becomes a bit messy.
My personal preference is, that some tools connected with navigation and viewport can be used by clicking icons/buttons. But now I see that some users would prefer not to clutter the top bar. Maybe it is much worse idea, then I though when propose it. But any other solution (better one) would be nice to have (if possible).
