Simple math-expression-evaluating node in node graph

Would be extremely pleased to have a node able to evaluate complete piece of math expression in text form, e.g., 1 - clamp(abs(sin(x))*2, 0, 1) , that will simplify node graphs by a LOT:

update: I've already made it working, now feels really good

Sometimes I don't even use geometry nodes anymore cause the math is so difficult to read in it and takes up to much space. I would love to see 'puzzle' blocks that languages like scratch have. But for the short term (and possible long term), having an expression node would be a life saver.

Exactly the same for me, full screens of nodes doing simple job that can be normally writen in few words is just visual pollution, which I think is unbearable.

Hey. I find a addon that could exchange osl to node.

Of course. It has been forgot for a long time.

Many body also find that the official addon can make math to mesh(It's a pity that it's destructive modeling. Once you've generated a static mesh, you can't re-modify it)

So I believe they have a good way of turning formulas into nodes.

Idk why nobody really import it to main version.

They can do but they not do. wtf. It's not hard

how did you make your demo? Is there some certain way or just PS?

An N-dimension math node will greatly simplify a bunch of Math nodes, which will make node editor more clear.
