Asset Panel

I am still in the learning curve of how to work with blender as there are a ton of possibilities out there, I thank all the developers and contributors to bring up this fantastic piece of software, especially the latest one with Eevee Next update, it's just wow 👍,

I don't if we could share the modifiers or geometry nodes as assets already, but seeing a few of these samples in the upcoming 4.3 asset browser would be just great, categorised Along with a few textures, materials, hdri's, models and images as templates, also some themes and much more can be dropped here in the same panel as beginner friendly assets to choose from.

Any group of nodes, may it be in shaders, comp or geo, can be marked as asset and used in the asset browser.

Themes are being handled through the extensions system since v4.2. See them here: extensions.blender.org/themes/

I mean making it shareable through a website as they're coming up with add-ons and extentions now, wouldn't it be wonderful that we have a site where we all could share and download these modifiers and geometry nodes which we create with the whole community, we already have hdri's and pbr textures and materials and objects, but what about these

Then perhaps you should edit your proposal to better portray that😉

As for more asset types being able in the extensions platform, it seems to be planned.
See Online Assets Workshop Report — Blender Developers Blog

And prior to that, their extensions platform announcement mentions:

Extensions are add-ons, themes, and potentially anything else that can extend Blender’s native functionality (e.g. key maps, assets).

And down in the comments, we can read this:

Do you have any plans to make an online Asset Library?
For Materials, Textures, GN Modifiers, GN Tools, MatCap, HDRI, Brushes, and others.

Yes, the topic of remote asset libraries has been taken into account when developing extension repositories. Updates on this are coming later.
