Transform Orientations proposal
Existing solution: 1. Click menu to expand -> 2. Click "+" button to create transform Orientation -> 3. may be not p.3, but 2.5 - click somewhere to collapse menu -> 4. Do the transform
Another : click "+" and transform

I feel like if they got the cursor snapping working well, you could save cursor locations instead of transform orientations. It would be a solution to both cursor location and transform orientation in one tool.
